So, Dave Freer, an author whose books I'm rather fond of, is emigrating from South Africa to Australia, and due to changes in exchange rates he needs to raise some extra money to pay for their cats & dogs' required stay in quarantine. To do this, he's posting his latest book online in installments - one chapter for every $400 in donations he gets (chapters updated once/week). Also, people who donate at least $25 US will receive an autographed copy of the book, should he find a publisher for it.
