Happy New Year
Jan. 1st, 2006 02:37 pm2005 was a good year for me. It was my first year at a job that wasn't one flavor of temping or another. I really like my job and co-workers, I've grown closer to some really cool people, and I got engaged and handfasted to my wonderful fiancee. I've been enjoying getting to know her family and greatly appreciate the way we both get along well with each other's families. I'm looking forward to 2006, especially getting married in April (for those of you who we'd told to reserve May 13th for our wedding, it's been changed to April 22, just in case you hadn't heard) Our household is all moving at the moment, but the new place is much nicer, less money, and has a landlady who will actually do routine maintenance in a timely fashion.
Resolutions for 2006
- I must start making myself get enough sleep on a regular basis
- Get married
