Fondue fun, and a quiz

So, last weekend Kay and I found a fondue set in the bargain bin at Nugget. It looked lonely, so we had to take it home. Our first attempt was something of a failure - mozzarella cheese, while very good in some things, does poorly in fondue. This time, Kay found a ez-fondue kit, which worked quite well. We had much fun with melted cheese. Eventually, must learn to make the stuff from scratch. I think the next use of the fondue pot should be for chocolate though.

I have a great Fondue book which has been helpful in teaching me how to make Fondue from scratch. It is more expensive that way, and touchier than hell, but but.

If you get a cheese that just won't melt or is too thick, add a little vegetable oil.
