Weekend update while I wait on a reaction

Annual Winter Bash @ D&E's - good food, good friends, and dancing - what more can one ask for? Despite running a bit late, Kay and I got there in time to see the performance of 4-couple Stingo & Guildmistress' reaction. Much fun. As I can now afford to develop film again, I took my camera, and went a bit overboard - took a good 6 rolls of film over the course of the weekend, 4 of which were at the party. I think I'm going to have to start charging people for copies, as developing costs are kinda high - wouldn't be much, maybe $.030/photo. Since I get them developed in digital too, I can also make CDs for people - those are cheap though. I need to pick up a few more photo albums...
Kay got dressed up in a yummy pettable dress by a kind Satyr - thank you much! I'm looking forward to going shopping with the two of them on the 30th to pick out some stuff for Kay. Hottubbing was much fun, though Kay and I have agreed we should just leave the bathing suits at home next year. :)
Saturday:
Woke up & went to Dicken's, then had a blast there. Some dancing, but a lot more just wandering around with Kay and enjoying the atmosphere. We had a bit of fun as Mr. & Mrs. Valentine - must develop the characters more for next year so that we can interact with the participants more. Had fun watching Kay get her hair braided by barelyproper - she does wonderful things with hair. I'd have had mine done, but my wallet was feeling rather light after I bought a derby hat. It completed my outfit nicely, I thought. Tried on the top hats and short tophats - the tophats just didn't look right on my head, and the short top one prompted Kay and I both to think of rabbis - not quite the look I was going for.
