Huzzah, jobbiness!
Nov. 17th, 2004 04:27 pmWonderful Girlfriend has pre-empted me, due to her having 'net access before me, but I have a new job! Starting Dec. 6th, I'll be working for UC Davis as a SRAII (Staff Research Associate, II for those unfamiliar with the nomenclature) in one of the plant biology labs on campus. They're doing research on circadian rhythms in plants, and the genetic basis for said rhythms. It should be fun and interesting, and it's a permanent job - no more temping for me! The PI said she has funding for the next 4 years, so I feel pretty secure on the permanent aspect. And it's a permanent position at UCD, so I get benefits, etc. And best of all, it means I'm not stuck at insane company of doom, where I've been working. I really enjoyed giving them my two week's notice today. :)
